Dan spent the first half of his career as a business journalist being a watchdog of the economy, corporate and personal finance, and community business developments for daily newspapers. He continues to write a weekly financial advice column for McClatchy-Tribune News Service, a national news service.
Part of his pursuit toward financial planning was after writing about all the wrongdoings in the industry and the confusion that reins among investors that perhaps he could help by offering personal service with an independent voice.
Dan’s passion for all things financial planning is being led by his unique system for making sure individuals, families and businesses stay on track toward their financial goals and helping them bring meaning to their money. Dan focuses on how financial decisions affect a client’s well-being and how it creates a happier life.
Originally from Florida, Dan has a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa and is a graduate of the College for Financial Planning in Denver. He is an active member of the Financial Planning Association.
